A Collection Of Words II

Another collection of haiku poems. (These are six individual poems, don’t read them as a whole.) The first part can be found here. OH, and WordPress just reminded me that I started blogging one year ago today…YAY! Most people do awesome posts on their 1-year blogiversary, but not me! Lol.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

White sheets, red roses
Moon shines on glistening skin
Love-making begins

~*~*~

Suddenly it clicks
Everything falls into place
He’s where she belongs

~*~*~

Words, tangled up with
Emotions, leave no room for logic
Bound to get messy

~*~*~

She hides her feelings
He pretends he doesn’t care
Neither will survive

~*~*~

Dear diary, she writes
Can you mend a broken heart
Without the pieces?

~*~*~

Please stay, her eyes plead
If he goes, her heart will bleed
Life would lose meaning

  1. A BIG congrats on your one year anniversary (I think mine is coming up in a few days) 😀

These haiku poems are great – Dear Diary is my favorite 😉

    1. Thanks! Glad you liked. Congrats to you too! I didn’t realize that wordpress reminds you. I KNEW it was the 12th but when I posted this, it had completely slipped my mind til I saw the little notification. 😀

  2. Dang, WP reminds you now?? When I had my first anniversary last year, I had to go back to the very first post to check the date! Oh, how times change.
Love the haikus. I’m not a huge poetry person so simple and direct always does it for me. 😉

    1. Really, they didn’t always remind people? Rude! Yeah, they give you a little notification, like the ones you get for likes and comments…

What, you don’t like poetry! I’m so offended! Just kidding. Glad you like the haikus. 😉

  3. Congratulations! I just celebrated my 100th follower but I’ve only been around for a couple of months. Good for you! 🙂 Love the poems. Any truth or personal experience in any of them? 🙂

    1. Go you! 100 followers in a couple months, that’s awesome!
Glad you liked. There’s truth in the one haiku, Suddenly it clicks/Everything falls into place/He’s where she belongs… That’s about it lol.

  4. Ugh, I hate those feelings of mending broken hearts with missing pieces. These are all fun, good little poems. I like that separately or together it tells a story, almost like the beginning and end of love.

    HAPPY ONE YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
